Answers in Genesis is an apologetics ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. They focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is the most-attacked book of the Bible. They also desire to train others to develop a biblical worldview, and seek to expose the bankruptcy of evolutionary ideas, and its bedfellow, a “millions of years old” earth (and even older universe).

For more than 30 years, Mark Lowry has stood in a class all his own as one of gospel music’s premiere storytellers and singers. His universal appeal and timeless baritone voice unites generations, capturing the hearts of listeners of every age. Now, singing about the enduring themes of life and love in this new collection of favorites, Mark keeps alive the songs that once served as a soundtrack for American life.

“Unforgettable Classics is a collection of songs I hope young and old listeners will keep singing and remembering, because they are great and because they are an irreplaceable part of American music history. Many of these songs I first heard on vinyl albums, and I love how technology now allows us to distribute these wonderful old favorites digitally so a new generation of people can fall in love with them. Great songs only get better with time, so let’s keep singing them, dancing to them and playing them in the background as we make memories with the people we care about.”

The brand new partnership gives back to communities around the world

SAN DIEGO, CA–Syntax Distribution partners with the organization Missional Music to give its vast audience more than just great music–it’s a chance to give to an important cause. Missional Music represents singers, musicians and other like-minded individuals coming together to spread hope and resources to impoverished areas. Headed up by longtime friend of Syntax Records–and member of Sackcloth Fashion–the multi-talented Sam Hart, Missional Music seeks to reach the unreached. The first project Missional Music Volume One hits stores July 9th 2013, with 100% of the profit allocated to help the people in Nepal.

“When Sam told me about his idea to launch Missional Music, I was thrilled to help him and be a part of it,” says Syntax CEO Tim Trudeau. “It’s exciting to see people launch compassionate capitalistic endeavors in spite of the increase in government regulations and other economically stifling conditions plaguing entrepreneurs right now.”

Missional Music Volume One is the best in independent rock, worship and hip-hop compiled into a cohesive 12-track album. Some of the artists included are SixtyOne Ashes, Stefanie Kelly, The Mike Clark Band, Jeremiah Bonds and more.

“These artists are the real deal,” Hart says. “Every one of them was super excited when they heard what we were doing and couldn’t wait to be involved. The most encouraging part was observing how they didn’t blink when they were told they wouldn’t get anything out of it!”

The partnership of Syntax Distribution and Missional Music brings together good friends, bandmates, and a synergy of fresh ideas. Missional Music, working in conjunction with a distribution company that is at the forefront of the music scene gives the new organization a chance to tap into organizational inertia and hit the ground running.

“We’ve partnered with Syntax because we want to make our music available to as many people as possible. The more downloads, the more churches get planted. It’s that simple, and Syntax has an incredible reach,” Hart says. “We’ve never done this before and Syntax does it all the time. We know Syntax team and trust them. Not to mention they are cut from the same cloth have the same motivation for being in business.”

Missional Music is a community of musicians and artists who desire to use their music to raise funds that support indigenous church-planting in areas that make up the 41 percent of the world that is considered “unreached”. Its purpose is to gather disciples of Jesus Christ who make music for disciples, while making disciples around the world.

“Sometimes in life, you just need to reset—reset from the clutter, from your circumstances, from the chaos…” It’s a concept that Stellar Award-winning artist Isaac Carree creatively explores on his sophomore solo album, RESET. On it, the Atlanta-based singer, songwriter, producer and actor takes listeners on a musical journey of relatable songs, dynamic vocals and masterful musicality. The album’s lead single, “Clean This House,” met unprecedented success when it entered the gospel radio charts at #28, then skyrocketing to the top ten within just weeks. Anticipation is high for RESET, the follow-up to Carree’s Stellar Award-winning debut solo album, Uncommon Me. “I’ve grown a lot since I released my first solo album,” says Carree. Isaac Carree began his music career over twenty years ago, as a celebrated soloist with John P. Kee & New Life Community Choir, before co-founding the award-winning contemporary gospel group, Men of Standard. Over the next decade, the guy group went on to record five albums, releasing numerous hit singles including “Trust In God” and “In Your Will,” before taking a hiatus to In 2011. Isaac Carree released his debut solo album, Uncommon Me, to much anticipation and groundbreaking acclaim. It debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Albums chart, #48 on the Billboard 200 and #5 on the Independent Albums chart. With RESET, Isaac Carree steps squarely onto center stage to transparently so listeners can relate, be inspired, and find hope.
