Against The Flow

In early 1997, the Caldwells teamed up with Cedric’s wife Angie and her sister Debbie to found Against the Flow Records. The first release by Angie and Debbie entitled “Bold” peaked at #3 on Billboard’s gospel charts and sold over 100,000 copies. Since then, the label has produced albums by Ann McCrary, a Winans family Christmas project, and solo cds by Mom & Pop Winans. While they have always been open to working with others, it’s just recently that the industry as a whole has really caught on to the magic the Caldwells create in the studio. They are now firmly in-demand.

Bloodgood

Formed in 1985, Bloodgood is a platinum-selling rock band with 5 studio albums and 16 total CD releases in their career thus far, with more new music on the way. Bride

Bride is a Christian metal/rock band formed in the 80s as “Matrix”, by brothers Dale Thompson and Troy Thompson. Despite being criticized for their abrupt changes in style in favor of what’s “hot”, the band has remained largely popular in the U.S. and other places like Brazil. Dale, a full time pastor, wanted to use the band for ministry and not for profit, so in the late 90’s they decided to go completely independent from any record label and put out an offer to play any free concert they were invited to as long as they were compensated for travel food and lodging. The offer is still posted on their website, so if you want to have them come to your town, you might give it a try.

Bulletproof Music

BulletProof Music (also known as Bulletboy Music) is a now-defunct independent record label that was founded in 1997. The label was owned by gray dot, inc., alongside gray dot records, and was distributed by Diamante Distribution.

Grrr Records

The Grrr Records is a collective of Christian artists and musicians who work together to make quality music that encourages and challenges people to a deeper life with God. Grrr Records started as a record label formed in the late ’80s by members of Resurrection Band (AKA Rez Band) and their producer Tom Cameron. They were all a part of Jesus People USA, an intentional Christian community that is based in Chicago, IL who feel called by God to serve the poor through the homeless shelters and other community ministries of Cornerstone Community Outreach, evangelize through music and culture at Cornerstone Festival as well as through Grrr, and disciple young Christians with a discipleship training school called Project 12. Pinecastle Records was created nearly 22 years ago as a favor to a friend and has since grown into a legendary label with nearly 250 releases in its catalog including titles from some of the most influential musicians in the bluegrass genre such as Eddie Adcock, The Osborne Brothers, Jim and Jesse and Charlie Waller & The Country Gentlemen. Pinecastle has always placed an emphasis on fostering the talents of bluegrass’ up and co and has helped with the growth of the careers of Terry Eldredge, Jesse Brock, Josh Williams, and Kristin Scott Benson,among others.

Pro Piano

Pro Piano Records grew from the concept that in the modern world of classical music, recorded music is a vital and key form of artistic expression, made all the more important by the ever present supply of conservatory students all nurtured on academically similar standards of technique and expression. It is much more realistic for an artist to breathe individually during a recording session than from the microscopic limitations of a concert stage. The public is simply too unforgiving of live performances which do not fit into their perceived mold of normalcy. However, recorded works are given the latitude of tolerance in respect to their individual creativity and expressiveness.

Lee Jerkins, CEO of RockSoul Productions has been an advocate of the Holy Hip-Hop & Urban Music Movement for the last decade. A team of people that believe every church has a distinct sound connected to the message in that house. The sound of their house is worth detecting, developing and deploying so that others may hear and follow it. We service our clients with a one-stop-shop concept in recording. From writing and arranging songs to copyrights, publishing, artwork, manufacturing and distribution – we make it simple to be successful at recording and releasing the sound of a church. With life all around him was so crazy, rap music became three things motivation, therapy, and a blank wall to paint pictures through the stories he told. After years of hardship, trial and now a life changing transformation, Thi’sl has set to tell the world.

Yancy Ministries

Nashville-based Yancy has been writing and performing for more than 13 years, working for five years on staff as a church worship leader, then leading worship for a wide variety of ages at churches and events. She currently travels the country sharing her music by performing family concerts at churches and leading worship at conferences and camps.

Yancy has produced 10 of her own CDs, in addition to composing and arranging for other Contemporary Christian Music artists. She’s written songs with Third Day’s Mac Powell and co-wrote Avalon’s hit single “I Don’t Want to Go” as well as Jaci Velesquez’ “Something Beautiful.” Yancy recently released a new CD, Stars, Guitars and Megaphone Dreams.

Along the way, Yancy’s written devotional books for worship teams, launched a father-daughter event with her dad, and provided church resource materials and led workshops for children’s worship leaders.
